What foods should I avoid?
Short answer first. Full logic in the chapter.
There are no "evil" foods — but some are engineered traps that your biology cannot handle:
Eliminate during active fat loss:
Sugary drinks — liquid calories bypass ALL satiety mechanisms. A Starbucks Frappuccino can be 500+ kcal.
Ultra-processed snacks — chips, candy, cookies. Engineered at The Bliss Point.
Alcohol — halts fat burning, destroys sleep, disables The Rider.
White bread / pastries — fast fuel that crashes your blood sugar.
Sauces and dressings — "healthy salad" with ranch dressing = 600 kcal.
The framework: You're not "avoiding" these foods. You're choosing not to negotiate with them. Your safe dose for trigger foods is zero — because one taste opens a negotiation that The Elephant always wins.
Keep them out of your house. If it's not there, the conversation never starts.
