I have no motivation
Short answer first. Full logic in the chapter.
Good. You don't need it.
Motivation is a chemical lie — a short-lived dopamine spike that makes you feel like you'll conquer the world. It fades within hours. You cannot build a life on a chemical spike.
What you need instead is Mastery:
"I do exactly what I said I would do, especially when my mood disagrees."
You don't wait to "feel like" eating your protein. You don't wait to "feel like" walking. You do it because that's who you are now. The feeling follows the action — never the other way around.
Right now, today, your only job is:
- 1. Eat protein at your next meal
- 2. Drink water
- 3. Walk for 15 minutes
You don't need to feel inspired to load one washer. You just load it.
