How should I use the scale?
Short answer first. Full logic in the chapter.
The Weekly Average — the only number that matters.
Protocol:
- 1. Weigh yourself exactly 3 mornings per week (e.g., Mon, Wed, Fri)
- 2. After using the bathroom, before eating or drinking
- 3. Write the numbers down
- 4. On Sunday, add them up and divide by 3
- 5. Compare this week's average to last week's average
Never react to a single day. The Wet Sponge can swing your weight 1-3 kg (6.6 lbs) in 24 hours from salt, stress, workouts, or hormones. This is water, not fat.
The Weekly Average flattens the noise and reveals the true trend. If the average is going down week over week — the system is working. Trust the math.
